The WWE Universe has seen many superstars fall prey to the wrestling ring. Many of those recovered and returned even stronger than before, while some were not fortunate enough to have that. One such heartbreaking story is of former World Champion Big E who became a victim of a severe injury last year in March.
Though he has recovered from his injuries, his wrestling future still looms in the dark as the doctors have advised him to maintain his distance from the ring. But when one door closes, another one opens and a new one has opened for The New Day member. He is soon to appear on the big screen alongside UFC legend Randy Couture.

The movie team recently wrapped production on the film in Orlando, FL. You must be aware that Hollywood is under a strike. That said, Big E’s movie was granted a SAG-AFTRA waiver during the union strike, making it one of the first independent films to receive one and continue filming.
Finally, some good news for the one-time WWE Champion. We are so happy that he is moving forward in his career, albeit not wrestling. His wrestling career is still under threat, as he is not medically cleared to perform inside the ropes yet.

In March 2022, Big E and Kofi Kingston squared off against Sheamus and Ridge Holland in a tag team match. During the match, Holland delivered a botched belly-to-belly suplex to the former WWE Champion at ringside. This led the latter to land on his head and sustain a neck injury, thus had to be rushed to the hospital.
Big E via social media revealed he broke his C1 and C6 vertebrae because of a botched move. A while later, he revealed fans breathed a sigh of relief when he announced that his recovery process was going well. Despite good recovery performance, there are still ongoing rumors that his career is ending.
