Recently, Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) came on Twitter and broke the news of former WCW World Champion Goldberg’s first professional wrestling appearance since he left the WWE.

“Manchester UK! Mark your calendars for April 29-30!”, wrote DDP.

But the most shocking thing is that this appearance has nothing to do with WWE or AEW. Instead, Goldberg is heading to the United Kingdom to make an appearance for the wrestling event, ‘For the Love of Wrestling’, in Manchester this weekend.

A quick glance at Goldberg’s WWE career

Goldberg stepped inside the world of Vince McMahon in 2003. His first run was quite short as he left the company the next year. Then after twelve years, the legend once again appeared in front of the WWE Universe and revived his rivalry with ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar

Goldberg also became the first WWE superstar to win the world championship after receiving the Hall of Fame induction. At Elimination Chamber 2022, WWE Universe saw Goldberg competing inside the ring for the last time. He competed against ‘The Tribal Cheif’ Roman Reigns for the Universal championship.
