Even before WWE or boxing, Logan Paul was famous for clapping back from allegations and investigations during his time on YouTube. The Maverick is a solid figure, and it takes more than just an allegation to take him down. But this time he’s in deep trouble as his energy drink brand, started with fellow YouTuber KSI, is under FDA investigation.
But Paul isn’t stopping to defend himself, even in this dire situation. He recently took to Instagram to sound a warning, written on the back of his energy drink PRIME to children.

While Prime is going through an investigation headed by the FDA, Paul uploaded a story on his Instagram about his brand. In the story, Paul has highlighted the warning on the label of the product. It clearly mentions the fact that the user should drink responsibly as it isn’t healthy for children under the age of 18, pregnant women, and people sensitive to caffeine.
The component that got the brand under fire is the amount of caffeine present in the drink. While it is usual for energy drinks to contain high levels of caffeine, it seems like some of Paul’s YouTube audience, primarily those under the age of 18, are indulging in the drink as well.

While Paul was recently in the news for proposing to his long-time girlfriend, this is a complete 180 for being in the headlines. The amount of children indulging in Prime is the reason that U.S. Senate Chuck Schumer brought it to the notice of the public. But let’s look through everything that happened that led to this investigation in the first place.
What is the Prime investigation about?
On July 9th, in a press conference in New York, Schumer brought Prime to the public’s notice. He said, “Buyers and parents beware because it’s a serious health concern for the kids it so feverishly targets. This is an eye-popping level of caffeine for a young kid’s body.” Prime contains 200 mg of caffeine which is twice the amount present in another popular energy drink, Red Bull.

He urged the FDA to investigate Prime about their marketing schemes directed toward children under the age of 18. While Prime does supply a non-caffeine-based drink, it isn’t as popular as the original bottle. The brand released a statement that it will abide by the investigation by the FDA but the results are yet to be released.
