WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has been in the critic gunpoint ever since he made an appearance on the May 1st episode of Raw to preside over the second night of WWE Draft. Fans got furious because it was the same Bischoff who took his hatred out on CM Punk for appearing in Raw just days ago. The WWE Universe went berserk at him for going against his own words.

The WWE legend often gives his expert opinion on almost every star in and out of the promotion. While being critical suits him the best, another WWE veteran, Jim Cornette disclosed his own point of view  amid the current controversies.

The former Raw general manager garnered a lot of heat while taking charge of the 4th round of the WWE draft alongside RVD. The pair announced that Trish Stratus, Ronda Rousey, and Shayna Baszler were heading to the red brand, while Karrion Kross and LA Knight were picked for SmackDown.

While RVD received warm gestures from the enormous crowd, most have not taken Bischoff’s presence well. Because he did a hypocritical act, calling out Punk seamlessly for the same thing he himself was up for. Questions emerged if Bischoff anticipated a WWE return down the line. Now, Cornette noted it’s not impossible for him to switch brands easily as he’s a money sucker.

During the latest episode of his podcast Drive Through, the 61-year-old noted, ‘Eric Bischoff who tried to talk to the people, and they were chanting RVD over the top of him. Now I see why Bischoff has been knocking all the ….. He got a couple of AEW paydays and then started knocking AEW and Tony Khan because they finally decided to give him a couple more paydays over on, uh the other side of the street…so..he’s just a mercenary he’ll just go places and do things for money. Used to be called a whore.’

However, Bischoff doesn’t seem to pay heed to the critiques, regardless of everything.

The former WCW legend finally opened up about his much-talked-about WWE Raw appearance. Keeping aside all the negatives coming his way, Bischoff was likely to keep his focus straight only on the positives.

Without uttering a word about the controversy, the WWE veteran explained his great experience that night. Speaking with the Strictly Business podcast, he noted, ‘It always feels good. You know, you see some people that you haven’t seen in a while and get to reconnect and just put your toe back in the water. It was great. I got to say hi to Paul Levesque and Steven Regal and I saw Bruce again, amongst others. It was a great night. I enjoyed it.’
