Liv Morgan was badly hurt during a match on the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown. She and Raquel Rodriguez were butting heads for the Women’s Championship against Harley and Dakota Kai. Despite successfully retaining the title, Morgan and Rodriguez had to be stripped of the gold because of her shoulder injury.

Although recovery time from a torn shoulder entirely depends on the size of the tear, still an estimated time frame range from four months to a year. But the former SmackDown Women’s Champion didn’t let that ruin her 29th birthday. She shared a photo of herself flaunting a gold bikini and a super stylish bucket hat, pairing the look with a classy round glass.

The photo reveals that the Raw female star is currently in her seventh heaven having a birthday bash in Tulum.

Although it looks like Morgan is recovering pretty well, there is still no word on her return. However, WWE set the pendulum in motion for some changes to her character upon her return.

No matter when she comes back, given that she won’t resume her run as a champion, she might undergo some changes in character to regain the spark.

Weeks ago, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer News teased a theory of Morgan’s potential heel turn after once she returns to the action. After all, Raquel Rodriguez won’t have any trouble picking Shotzi as her partner. Meltzer seconded that idea, adding a little extra weight to it.
