Along with the holiday season, WWE has supposedly brought some gifts for their beloved fans. The gift in question are the returns of many fan-favorite superstars to WWE. While fans witnessed the return of Randy Orton and CM Punk along with Kairi Sane in the past month, the homecoming season is not over yet. A few days ago, Sasha Banks teased her possible return, even endorsed by her former tag-team partner Bayley. Amidst all this, former WWE star and NXT Champion Mandy Rose just dropped a major hint at her possible return.
Is Mandy Rose returning to WWE?
In a clip being actively shared over the internet, Rose is seen talking during a live stream. A fan happened to ask her whether she would return for the upcoming Royal Rumble 2024 as her fans miss her. To this, the 33-year-old star replied that her fans have to wait and find out. The tease came days after Sasha Banks teased her possibility of returning to WWE after her sour release a year ago.

A few days ago, Bayley, who was a former tag team partner of Banks, also teased Banks’ possible return to WWE. In a training montage posted by Banks on her X (formerly Twitter) account, Banks is seen training her in-ring skills such as running between the ropes. Bayley retweeted the clip saying, “The Greatest is yet to come.” The return of Sasha Banks might be in time considering the situation between The Role Model and her Damage CTRL faction members.

If the tease by Rose is true, she would be returning to the Stamford-based promotion after almost a year. She was released earlier in 2023 by the company.
Why was Mandy Rose released by WWE?
The Toxic Attraction Leader was a dominating force at WWE NXT. The former WWE NXT Champion ruled over the black and gold brand as she stayed champion for over a year. This made her the third woman in the promotion to hold the title for a whole year. Just when fans thought great things might be in store for her, things took a hard left for Rose. On the December 13 episode of WWE NXT, Rose lost the title in a rematch against Perez. This ended her 416 days reign as the NXT Champion. But things were not over for her.

Rose was present as a guest on the Tamron Hall Show on the January 10, 2023 episode. There she broke the news that she had been released from the company. Later on, it was revealed in reports that the promotion made this decision after it was found out that she had been distributing suggestive content to her fans on her fan website.

Following the release, Rose stated she has worked on her financial independence and has worked hard on her online presence. Maybe due to her increasing popularity, WWE might have reconsidered adding her back to the main roster. Do you think her popularity might have played a major role?
