Athletes are related to each other through competition. So, when an athlete defends their ‘competitor’, it is a wholesome sight to witness. Similarly, an AEW superstar recently defended the legendary Randy Orton from a trolling place called the internet. Orton almost got trolled a few days back. But thanks to another wrestler, the respect for his theme song stayed intact.

AEW superstar MJF jumped right into Orton’s rescue. The small Twitter argument between MJF and a random netizen can also be deemed hilarious. Particularly because the fan had replied to a meme on Twitter that called for his “wrestling hot take”. As soon as the fan replied to it, MJF gave a shocking reply.

It is not a shock that AEW and WWE are rival promotions. Desired or not, the two companies have had different sorts of relations in the past. No matter how bitter the relationship is between the rival promotions, the ‘sportsperson spirit’ cannot be stolen away from the wrestlers.

A Twitter account posted a meme asking wrestling fans for ‘risky’ opinions. The kind of opinions that would get the rest of the wrestling world to disown them from the fandom. To this, one fan replied, “Burn in my Light’ sucks a*s I’m sorry”. Upon witnessing such disrespect for Randy Orton’s theme song, MJF could not bear it any further.

F*ck you,” wrote the AEW superstar in reply to the netizen. Although all of it is likely to be a joke, MJF jumping in to take a stand for Orton is heartwarming for most wrestling fans. Especially because the two wrestlers are even segregated through a barrier of promotions.

There have been reports before about MJF hinting towards his promotion switch. Although the wrestler is having a good time at AEW, he claims to be a ‘businessman’. Hence, MJF is likely to be wherever money takes him.

These hints and rumors, combined with Randy Orton’s speculated release, could be narrating a story that we are unable to see right now. Can The Viper’s future unfortunate WWE release be a gateway for his rescuer to enter into WWE? Or is it just some good old sportsmanship?
