Amid Roman Reigns’ Absence, Seth Rollins Becomes Locker Room Leader by Making a Rare Change to His World Heavyweight Championship to Honor Bray Wyatt

It’s been a few days since Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend left us. The world of WWE is still affected by this loss. Various pro wrestling stars expressed their love and admiration for the fan-favorite pro wrestler. However, a tribute that caught everyone’s attention came to light. As Roman Reigns was absent on this week’s Monday Night Raw, Four-time world champion, Seth Rollins became the Locker Room Leader and honored Wyatt in a unique and touching way. This tribute screamed nothing but respect that Rollins has for Wyatt.

On the latest installment of Monday Night Raw, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins made an appearance on the stage. This appearance was a part of promo for the upcoming event in which Rollins will give Shinsuke Nakamura a shot at his WWE World Heavy Weight Champion title this Saturday. The fans greeted him with affection by singing his theme song.

As the crowd settled down, Rollins gave a shoutout to Wyatt by saying The Fiend’s famous catchphrase. Rollins shouted “Yowie Wowie” and then continued to address the crowd.

Later on, as the camera was panning, eagle-eyed observers noticed something. As a sign of honor and respect for Bray Wyatt, Rollins made some changes to his Championship Belt. He got a new side plate on his belt which had a depiction of Bray Wyatt’s fan-favorite character, The Fiend.  

This gesture of Rollins is added to the gallery of tributes poured in by various pro wrestling stars for Wyatt. This surely indicates the impact he had on his fellow pro wrestling friends and colleagues.

The world of WWE was left in shock as the news of Bray Wyatt’s sudden demise was announced on 24 August 2023.  At 36 years old, the pro wrestling star passed away due to a heart attack. This news deeply moved the wrestling community and fans by this tragic end to his remarkable journey.
