Roman Reigns has always been a hot pick of discussion. Narratives revolving around the Original Tribal Chief have become even denser ever since he made a cinematic return at SummerSlam in Cleveland. The former Universal Champion is widely known for his unwavering resilience, which was once again at the forefront when he ran to the ring and made Solo Sikoa realize who actually sat at the Head of the Table. The SmackDown after SummerSlam continued bearing the Roman Reigns effect as the 39-year-old again taught a lesson to his family members. Just like Sikoa has to be reminded of Reigns’ prowess, the former WWE Universal champion had to once stay away from a former colleague so as not to create a tense atmosphere.

Despite being a beast capable of toppling anyone and everyone inside the squared circle, the Head of the Table has quite a good backstage rapport with most stars in the division. But Matt Riddle has always displayed tendencies that make him stand out from the rest. The former WWE star has backstage issues with most of his colleagues, including Brock Lesnar and Goldberg, whom he had a nasty fallout with.

While Riddle once reasoned it as discrimination due to his MMA background, we never know the reality. When it comes to Reigns, the ex-WWE star trash-talked about him openly. He once infamously claimed that he could beat him up in a real-life fight.

Riddle also deemed the collective strength of him and Randy Orton, popularly billed as the RKBro ten times better than the Tribal Chief. Dismissing the hype Roman Reigns gets, the 38-year-old blatantly claims he is the real needle mover. Some time has passed since Riddle was let go by the company. However, his boastful comments resurfaced after a former WWE host confirmed that the company had purposely separated the two stars to avoid catastrophe.

But even if the chaos were inevitable, a few fans vouched for Riddle.

WWE fans undermine Roman Reigns in an envisaged real-life fight with Matt Riddle 

Roman Reigns has moved the mountains in the pro wrestling business over the years. From being a lackluster mid-carder to rising to the ranks of top heel of the company and becoming the historical champion, Reigns has moved through thick and thin. But despite all these, some fans still believe he’s a bit over-hyped and think Riddle is more capable physically of overcoming him as he mentioned in his comments.

A few fans substantiated their stance, referring to Riddle’s well-documented MMA background. The former WWE star carved out a distinct career inside the Octagon before he took his mojo to the WWE ring. Fans think in reality, he can eat hundreds of Roman Reigns as his highly touted MMA stint offers him the ability to back up his words.

This user sees no wrong in Riddle’s cocky claim although they admitted that the comments were unnecessary in the first place.
