

With her impressive UFC and WWE careers, Ronda Rousey has inspired people all around the world. This year, she made a stunning comeback to the WWE, further solidifying her position as a role model for mothers and women. The former WWE champion soon returned after a brief hiatus of barely four months following the birth of a girl in 2021.
The first child of Rousey and Travis Browne, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne, was born in September. Moreover, “Rowdy” unexpectedly returned to WWE after just four months, stunning the audience. She revealed during her interview on The Ellen Show that her mother was the driving force for her quick comeback to the ring.

It is commonly known that Rousey had a tough childhood and that her mother was the only person who gave her motivation. In addition, Rousey’s mother, a great judoka, has pushed her since the beginning to advance and train for combat sports.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Rousey Stated, “Well my mom. She was an example of being a working, strong mother. She was an engineer and working for Ph.D. and was the first American to win a world championship in Judo while she was a single mother all the same time. And I always felt like I could do anything as a mom because of her and I wanted to give my little girl the same example.”

According to “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” she felt a semi-truck full of razor blades hit her in the crotch shortly after giving birth to her baby, which drove her insane at first.

Additionally, she also mentioned that she wants breastfeeding to be accepted as a normal thing in society. As she stated, “They had never seen anyone breastfeed before, so they didn’t know it was a normal thing and acceptable to do in public. I wanted to put it out there that ‘Hey, this is normal, this is natural.’ I can work, I can kick butt, and I can feed my little baby girl at the same time.”
