It was a day of heartbreak for Alexa Bliss fans. Ever since the 2023 Royal Rumble, the wrestler has been noticeably absent from WWE TV owing to a maternity leave. Welcoming a baby girl on November 27 last year, many expected her to make a comeback at Wyatt 6’s debut. The rumors were further promoted as Bliss appeared in a storyline with Bray Wyatt in 2020, leading fans to believe she would be a member of Wyatt Sicks. However, this did not happen, as Nikki Cross became the scary faction’s only female member.

The 32-year-old was not even on Raw when Wyatt 6 made their debut, prompting questions about where the former WWE Women’s Champion has been. However, in a moment of relief for her well-wishers, Bliss’ husband Ryan Cabrera updated the world with a recent Instagram post. Sharing a picture with family, which also featured their seven-month-old daughter, the musician revealed in the caption, “Family fun day at tha most magical place on Earth!! @DisneyParks @WaltDisneyWorld #WaltDisneyWorld”. Seems like Bliss is not ready to return to her professional life just yet, which she had also confirmed in another interview.

In a conversation with The Messenger last year in July, Bliss clearly indicated she was in no hurry to return, and would prioritize motherhood. “I probably won’t bounce back as fast as I hope…I’m going to get to working out and doing all that stuff and get to where I need to be, you know, to have time. [I’ll have] the first fundamental months with the baby before thinking about trying to rush back to work.”

But fans have nothing to worry about. Bliss will definitely be back, thanks to WWE’s efforts to retain her, despite life-threatening health concerns!

When exactly Alexa Bliss is rumored to make her comeback to WWE?

Just four months after giving birth to her first child, Alexa Bliss made a heartbreaking confession to the world. Taking to Instagram, the 32-year-old revealed she had been in surgery for skin cancer. Taking to Instagram Stories, the wrestler shared a picture featuring bandages on the left side of her face. “Just over here lookin like Frankenstein,” the star wrote.

“Dear younger me, you should have stayed out of tanning beds,” her message also included. Alexa had revealed she was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma, which usually starts as a lump or discoloured patch on the skin, tending to spread over time. While the Women’s Triple Crown Champion has recovered since then, her time off has also been about reinventing her character.

“Time away is always a good thing,” Bliss said as she reminisced about her hiatus. “So whenever you take time off, it’s always a good time to evolve and to keep going. And I’ve already been probably six or seven different versions of myself. And each time it’s done well with merchandise sales, with bookings and all that stuff. So I don’t really like to go backwards with my work. I always like to go forward,” she said.

As one of the biggest female stars inside the ring currently, it’s understandable why Bliss might want to up her game every time. Especially after her loss to Bianca Belair at the Royal Rumble last year, the Total Divas star probably won’t be leaving her comeback match to fate. And even WWE has been patient with her, giving her all the time needed to recuperate, as they extended her contract last year.

While health scares and other personal hurdles have pushed back her return, WWE may schedule her comeback soon since this will allow for new feuds to occur on Raw and SmackDown’s main event.
