Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, And Others Join Trish Stratus As Damage CTRL Gets Branded As ‘Cheaters’

Last Monday Night RAW gave fans a memorable moment without a doubt. Fans went berserk as Lita won her first championship in WWE since 2006 with the help of her bestie, Trish Stratus. The news of Becky Lynch’s and The Extreme Diva’s glorious victory over Dakota Kai and IYO SKY reverberated throughout the WWE Universe till now. However, the best part of the fight was the return of Stratus. Not only for the audience but for her as well. The WWE universe could clearly see this in her celebration on social media. 

After the match, the winning duo, along with the one who assisted them, stood in the ring, celebrating. The pictures of which are on social media now against a caption that called out Damage CTRL. Surprisingly, many WWE top superstars joined in by cheering for the trio.

During the match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team champion, the members of Damage CTRL had an upper hand with their numerical advantage and the antics of their leader providing an advantage in between. However, to tilt the odds in favor of the champs, Stratus came running toward Bayley to knock her down. She then rushed to her bestie, Lita, and assured her of her championship win by giving her a hug. 

Now, a few hours back, the seven-time WWE Women’s Champion took to Instagram to post some wonderful pictures of the trio from the last Raw. The caption she wrote unabashedly braided the villainous stable as ‘Cheaters’. However, she first praises Kai and Sky and then labeled them with an awful tag. 

To everyone’s surprise, many WWE stars commented on the post with several emojis that translate their praise for the trio. Some of them were Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, The Bella Twins, and a few others.

Trish Stratus looking out for an opportunity

In an exclusive backstage interview after the match, Stratus disclosed her intuition that the leader of Damage CTRL would try to interfere. Talking to Cathy Kelly, she disclosed that during the match; she was on the lookout for the best opportunity to come out and knock down Bayley. 

She said, “Listen, I knew these guys could handle it for the most part, but you know, Bayley is a little sneaky. So, I had my eye out.”
