WWE stunned the pro-wrestling world with the release of Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, Lana, and more top Superstars. While fans and critics both are highly criticizing this move, the Superstars released have either stayed mum or opened up just a little to thank fans and others.
However, Aleister Black is the only one who came ahead and had a hearty one on one conversation with fans on Twitch. The ‘Dutch Destroyer’ addressed the fans and spoke of a lot of things. He even had a ton of praise for Vince McMahon, Triple H, and the entire WWE creative.

Aleister Black reveals he was supposed to win WWE US Championship
Speaking of creative, Black revealed there was a time WWE was considering him to be the next United States Champion. However, these plans were nixed as Vince McMahon didn’t want it to happen.
It wasn’t because McMahon was disillusioned with Black but because he wanted the Dutch Superstar to win his first championship on the main roster in the presence of fans.
Black said, “There was a moment where I was supposed to win, I think it was the U.S. Title, but then Vince’s consensus was I don’t want to have him win his first title in front of no audience.” He continued, “So there was always good stuff. There’s a lot of good stories, a lot of almost happened moments, so I can’t be negative.” H/t WrestlingInc
