One of the major WWE Premium Live Events, Crown Jewel, is just a couple of days away. Also, WWE has set the stage in Saudi Arabia for the show. However, the recent news of Saudi Arabia and the U.S. being on high alert after a warning of an imminent Iranian attack may worry the promotion. The WWE management hasn’t reacted to the news, but they might cancel the event over safety concerns.

Recently, Wall Street Journal shared about Saudi Intelligence, making the USA aware of Iran expecting to carry out potential ‘imminent attacks’ on Saudi Arabia. As per Saudi Arabia, Tehran could carry attacks as a distraction for its public.
WSJ shared the news on Twitter too, writing, “Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the U.S. warning of an imminent attack from Iran on targets in the kingdom”

However, WWE has scheduled a huge Premium Live Event, Crown Jewel, in Riyadh on 5th November 2022. The current events might shake up things about the show for safety concerns of WWE officials and superstars, but there is no word from the company yet.
Wrestling business analyst Brandon Thurston also shared his concerns over the WWE Crown Jewel PLE on Saturday. He replied to the WSI tweet writing, “WWE has an event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, airing on Peacock.”

Until now WWE has canceled none of their PLE once they are scheduled it. Even during the pandemic, they operated with no audience and fewer people around the ring. They work in a way that ensures employee safety and gets the job done.
Is WWE monitoring the Saudi Arabia situation for Crown Jewel?
We consider Crown Jewel as a WrestleMania and SummerSlam level show held outside American soil. Therefore, there will be more eyes on the show and also there are a lot of Saudi fans in the arena to watch their favorite stars.
As per PWInsider, WWE is still as per schedule to travel to Riyadh at the given time. Also, by looking at the scale of the event, WWE might not cancel it. But if the situation prevails, they might have no option. Again, there is no exact word from WWE about not flying to Saudi Arabia.
