April Jeanette Mendez, popularly known as AJ Lee among WWE fans, has bayed goodbye to WWE in 2015. Her tag team match on RAW after WrestleMania 31 was the last match she fought as a professional wrestler. And then she left the squared circle. However, it never meant that she stayed away from the eyes of fans. AJ Lee is quite active on social media and she keeps on updating fans about her new ventures.

Apart from being an amazing wrestler, she is also a huge animal lover. AJ never misses an opportunity to help animals. And once again, she came forward to find a home for the rescued puppies.

Recently, AJ Lee tweeted pictures of her and two puppies on her official Twitter handle. In the tweet, she is requesting fans to adopt the puppies. But she didn’t forget to sprinkle the humor that she is known for among fans in her words

AJ Lee wrote, “met some rescue bebes from @angelcitypits. please adopt these pups before i chew them up,” 

And this is not the first time when AJ has shown up to help the animals. She has previously been part of several projects that aimed the animal welfare.

Even though AJ Lee has left wrestling years ago, but she is still connected to it through WOW (Women of Wrestling). She is an executive producer and commentator at WOW.

Apart from that, AJ is also trying to carve out her niche in the writing field. Her book ‘Crazy is my Superpower’ has also earned a spot in the ‘Best Seller’ list of The New York Times. AJ Lee has also co-written the screenplay for the movie ‘Blade of the 47 Ronin’, a Netflix film.

If we talk about her personal life, then AJ Lee is happily married to former WWE superstar CM Punk

CM Punk had a controversial exit from WWE. Although he decided to revive his professional wrestling career when he joined AEW in 2021, but it also ended with an injury.

However, unlike her husband, AJ Lee has decided to take it slow with wrestling. She is currently focusing on trying her luck in other fields. And no matter how badly WWE fans want this couple to return to the company, it seems a little difficult for now.
