Ric Flair will go down as one of the most popular and entertaining wrestlers of all time. After wrestling for over four decades, ‘The Nature Boy’ seemingly retired after his ‘final match’ in July this year. But since then, the 73-year-old has teased a comeback a few times already. While the fans have mixed opinions over that, recently Flair bizarrely teased a potential match against former WWE RAW Women’s Champion.

In a recent interview, Flair again teased he may be looking to get back in the ring and picked Sasha Banks as his opponent! Now whether ‘The Golden Stallion’ was joking or being serious is not clear, but the fans let him know what they thought of it.

Ric Flair teamed up with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett at an event billed as ‘Ric Flair’ Last Match’. But it seems even after another fitting send-off, the 16-time World Champion is not done. After his legendary in-ring rival Rick “The Dragon” Steamboat announced his return to pro wrestling, Flair expressed a desire to make yet another comeback.

In fact, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he was already back in wrestling training a few months after his ‘retirement match’. Hence, the possibility of another Flair match remains. However, fans weren’t too pleased with his latest comments about who could be his next opponent.

In an interview with TMZ, a reporter asked Flair if he would ever do a celebrity wrestling match. To this, Flair replied, “I might. I’m thinking about wrestling Sasha Banks. Maybe we’ll go up against WrestleMania.”

Flair did mention that he’s not planning anything right now, but he’ll never say never about getting back in the ring.

Fans had a hilarious reaction to ‘The Naitch’ proposing a match with former RAW and SmackDown Women’s champion and took to Twitter to respond.

The possible idea of Flair going against his daughter’s iconic rival got the fans talking.

Moreover, some fans warned Flair against ‘The Bank Statement’, Sasha’s signature move.

There were other hilarious reactions from the fans.

Maybe Flair was just joking around when he said he wants to face Sasha Banks in a wrestling match, but the fans weren’t going to spare him. Indeed, the fans made it clear they didn’t want to see any such match. Some fans may still want to see Ric Flair in the ring, but not against this top female star for sure.
