Roman Reigns has completed over 1000 days as WWE’s Universal Champion in his current reign. While being a superstar, the wrestling promotion has booked Reigns for several main events. While the two are huge rivals in kayfabe, Zayn indirectly feels grateful to have feuded with Reigns. Despite facing defeat at the hands of The Tribal Chief at Elimination Chamber, Zayn feels confident in himself for being the kind of entity that attracts viewer attention. The tag team champion recently appeared on ‘WWE After the Bell’ and had some interesting things to talk about.
While talking to Corey Graves, Zayn humbly accepted that he never considers himself the ‘draw’ of a match. He further explained, “I think WWE is the draw, and then within the product, you have components that are going to really help the product, and I’ve always viewed myself as that.” However, now that things have turned around for him as a top star, he thought to himself, “This was the first time where I could look at something I was doing and I’d be like… this is driving business. This is drawing.”
Zayn had to do his share of hard work for WWE fans to love him. However, association with The Tribal Chief surely gave him a push in his quest to become people’s ‘hero’. But what exactly is the X factor that follows Sami Zayn at the moment during his feud with Reigns?
