After Two Months Full of Rumors, Nick Khan Finally Sheds Light on Vince McMahon’s Involvement in WWE Creative

Vince McMahon has been there to see and lead the growth of WWE forever now. He has witnessed all the ups and downs during his time in the company, including stepping away from his role last year. Although McMahon is still a huge stakeholder in the company and returned to the company earlier this year, there was doubt whether he was involved with the creative like he used to be.

This is a huge change for the promotion. The creative is now led by his son-in-law Triple H. However, there have been several instances of doubt where fans have wondered whether McMahon is actually out of the involvement or secretly still controlling the creative team. This was recently answered by WWE CEO Nick Khan.

Nick Khan clarifies Vince McMahon’s involvement in WWE creative

Nick Khan, the CEO of the wrestling promotion, recently appeared in a podcast to talk about WWE ahead of WrestleMania 39. While talking about Vince McMahon, Khan was asked about a very crucial detail. As soon as the host asked Khan whether McMahon is still involved in the creative department, he denied it straightaway.

However, he couldn’t deny it to a point of no return. So, Khan said, “not that involved, Triple H, Paul Levesque, is the head of creative. He was named the head of creative in August. Vince has embraced that, he has respected that. It’s also his son-in-law. so they have their dynamic.”

But Khan suggested that if Levesque oversees 99% of the company’s creatives, the remaining 1% will be influenced by McMahon in one way or the other.

There have been numerous instances where McMahon has made decisions that have paid off. Still, some people may not support his behavior in the work environment. However, according to Khan, he has plenty of fun with the former CEO of WWE. He mentioned that McMahon requires you to have an answer to every reasonable question. This makes things challenging in a fun way.

Khan also finds himself being grateful to Levesque’s father-in-law. “He’s only been generous and great to me and I’m grateful for the opportunity,” he added. At last, Khan closed off the topic by saying, “from my point of view, things have been terrific for the last couple of months since Vince returned.”
