Can Zilla Fatu live up to the Bloodline legacy, or will he crumble under pressure?

When the Samoan dynasty is busy settling differences inside the family, real-life Bloodline member Zilla Fatu is reaching new heights of success each day elsewhere on the earth. Umaga’s talented son has long been tipped to join forces with his cousins in WWE, but that somehow hasn’t happened yet. While it might be the reason because the faction seems stacked up right now with the collective valor of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, Zilla Fatu’s rousing indie career has also been a factor here. He recently achieved a great feat by winning the HOG Crown Jewel title on July 26, and now another feather is in the limelight.

Samoans are born with the innate wrestling sense in their blood. Most of Roman Reigns’ family members have left their mark on the business over the years and so is Zilla Fatu. The young superstar might not be a part of WWE yet, but he’s turning the tides in the outside wrestling realm. He’s, after all, on the untold mission of carrying his late father’s legacy forward.

Fatu made his momentous wrestling debut in July 2023 in Reality of Wrestling, a small independent promotion. Within a very brief period, Fatu made himself an absolute beast in the ring under the wise stewardship of WWE legend, Booker T. His incredible display of maneuvers impressed the whole world. The status kept on escalating with Fatu winning his first-ever title at HOG last month.

During the SummerSlam weekend, he posted a story on his Instagram, revealing that he was in Cleveland, Ohio, which was previously taken as a hint of his potential SummerSlam involvement. However, later it turned out that he was for one of the most crucial matches of his career. As per the recent report, he won the prestigious title of the Reality of Wrestling World Champion.

With Fatu impressing with his wrestling skills, it shouldn’t be long before he makes his debut in the WWE. Also, with Solo Sikoa losing his chance at Cody Rhodes’ title recently makes it the best time for Fatu to make a debut. Let’s see the odds of Fatu’s potential bloodline debut.

Have an interesting take?

WWE has a lot of names on their plate as potential Bloodline members. Hikuleo and Zilla Fatu have been the most prominent among all. Fatu first sparked the rumor of his Bloodline sign-up a few months back when Jacob Fatu made his electric debut on the blue brand and took out the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Zilla Fatu, who spent a lot of time with Jacob Fatu as a tag team during their GCW days, congratulated him on a cryptic note. He wrote in his IG story, ‘‘See you soon.”

Notably, sometime back Rikishi also took to his official X handle to share an update regarding the debut of another Samoan talent in the WWE soon. He might be hinting towards Fatu but nothing has been confirmed yet. However, given Roman Reigns is back in the lore, it will be fascinating to see if the company adds Fatu to the team, cranking up the storyline even more.
