Drew McIntyre is one of the top talents on WWE’s roster and has seen a drastic change in his career. Ever since McIntyre returned to WWE from the Indies, he has been a main-event star and was solely responsible for carrying the company during the Covid-19 era.

However, recently after WrestleMania 38, McIntyre has been off-television owing to contract problems and negotiations. Whether McIntyre will stay with WWE is unknown at the moment but the latest report, however, suggests a negative update.

Recently, during the draft session, the Scottish warrior got drafted into WWE RAW. While fans suggest it might result in McIntyre turning heel, he is yet to make an appearance. The latest pool for the new World Heavyweight championship came to light, but it missed McIntyre’s name.

All of these have combinedly led the fans to believe that he might be on his way out of the company. Although, the latest report suggests that WWE nailed the final coffin in McIntyre’s career with their latest move during the draft season.

What does the latest report suggest about Drew McIntyre’s future in WWE?

A recent report by Fightful claimed that the 37-year-old is frustrated with the company, and be done with it. He is often informed prior to any major decisions due to his stature as a top star in the company. However, the Scotsman only learned of his transfer to Monday Night Raw after the draft took place.

The report read, “McIntyre, who is usually told about Draft plans ahead of time, was one of several left out of the loop until he was announced as a Raw talent on television. There have been several perceived miscommunications between Drew and the company over the past couple of years.”

Further, it was also reported that Drew McIntyre is hesitant to turn heel unless it makes sense from a creative point of view. Previously, Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose turned heel abruptly and it did not go well. Similarly, the Scottish Warrior wants a logical reason to turn heel, and not do it for shock value.

WWE fans are eagerly waiting for a positive update on McIntyre’s career, and are yet to receive one. He last wrestled at WrestleMania 39 against Sheamus and Gunther, in one of the best matches of the night. Fans and critics alike loved the spectacular showdown at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

However, ever since then, McIntyre has been missing from television and is yet to make a final call on his career in WWE.
