Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Roman Reigns are easily the top 2 stars in the WWE right now. They are the two strong pillars supporting the entire WWE universe. And even though both of them made their debut through the villainous trio of ‘The Shield’ in 2012. Each has been able to successfully carve a niche for themselves in their respective brands through persistent hard work.

But just as The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns completed the unimaginable feat of holding the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for over 1000 days. Fans noticed that the newly crowned World Heavyweight Championship Rollins has defended the title more in just one month than Reigns has in the entire year.

Rollins emphatically won the match against AJ Styles at Night Of Champions to win the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship. And fans truly love their new champion on RAW as it’s evidently seen every time he makes an entry to the ring. Fans sing the chorus to his song in unison, showing their undying respect for the champion.

But ever since Rollins won the title, The Tribal Chief has not defended his Championship even once. For comparison, in just one month since clinching the title, Rollins has faced 6 challengers already while Reigns has only faced 5 competitors in the last year. Rollins recently overcame former NXT Champion Bron Breakker who he defeated at NXT’s Gold Rush. And even though Rollins was clearly in pain due to his abdomen injury, he still put on the usual power-packed athletic show to win that night. He even delivered his signature ‘frog-splash’ right on the announcers table, which made fans go crazy!

This is not the first time these two superstars are colliding in a championship bout. The last time they did so was seven years ago at SummerSlam for the inaugural Universal Championship which Balor convincingly won. But sadly due to a shoulder injury that Balor sustained due to a powerbomb by Rollins during that match. He had to relinquish The Universal Championship just 22 hours after winning it, making it one of the shortest title reigns ever.

But this time around, the rivalry is more personal as Balor thinks that the World Heavyweight Championship is rightfully his. This is because Rollins beat Balor to win the spot against AJ Styles at Night Of Champions for the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship. So Balor is not going to leave any stone unturned to make sure that he wears the belt on the waist of its rightful owner after Money in the Bank.
