Roman Reigns is without any doubt the biggest superstar in the WWE right now. Even when he entered the ring at SummerSlam and asked the 60,000-strong Detroit crowd to acknowledge him, they went into a state of frenzy. In spite of his heel persona, fans still love their ‘Tribal Chief’ the same way they did during his Shield days. He has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for 1070 days now.
And this streak seems bound to continue as Reigns won the ‘Tribal Combat’ against Jey Uso at SummerSlam with the help of a certain ‘Black Hooded Man’ who we will talk about later. However, talking about the title reign, a WWE source recently revealed when exactly ‘The Tribal Chief’ will lose his title.

As most WWE fans know by now, all the events taking place in the WWE follow a predetermined storyline. These storylines are controlled by the writers and top brass of WWE. But a special exception is made in the case of ‘The Tribal Chief’. This is purely because of the star power that Reigns currently holds in the WWE Universe.
Many thought that Jey Uso would be the wrestler who would end Reigns’ title streak at SummerSlam. But as always, Reigns emerged victorious from the battle. The big question thus remains unanswered. Who will end the title streak and be the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion? Well, that decision is also taken by The Tribal Chief and his ‘Wiseman’ Paul Heyman.
Fightful Select asked a WWE source when fans can expect Roman Reigns to lose the WWE Undisputed World Championship and they were told: “Whenever Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman say it ends.”

When ‘Fightful.com’ tried to get some information about when the streak would finally end and who would end it, a WWE source revealed that it entirely depends on Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Both these men have a say in the matter when it comes to the title streak. The Source said, “Whenever Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman say it ends.” Well, in that case, it seems like Reigns might just be the champion till he retires. Who would want to give up such a prestigious championship to any other wrestler?
But Reigns knows that the time will come when he has to give back to the company in the form of losing the title to a torch bearer. We will just have to wait and watch to see who that wrestler is. What is clear now, after ‘The Tribal Combat’, is that Jey Uso might not be that wrestler.
Jey Uso got stabbed in the back by Jimmy just as fans suspected
The fans turned up to Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan to witness total carnage in ‘The Tribal Combat’ match. They definitely got their money’s worth because this match was a prime example of adrenaline-pumping entertainment. So much so that ‘The Tribal Chief’ was left with a bleeding elbow.

It had everything a match needed to go down in wrestling history as one of the most gruesome and shocking matches ever. 60,000 roaring fans, high-risk maneuvers by Jey Uso, no holds barred action involving chairs, tables, kendo sticks, and even a menacing belt. And finally, to top all that, treachery by Jey’s very own brother, Jimmy Uso. Yes, Jimmy Uso was the ‘Black Hooded Man’ who pulled Jey Uso out when he was just about to pin an exhausted Roman Reigns. He followed that with a superkick and pushed Jey back into the ring.
A shocked Reigns couldn’t believe his eyes, but he went on to spear Jey right through the table. He then pinned Jey Uso and won the Tribal Combat thanks to the assistance from what seems like the reformed Bloodline. Fans can’t wait for SmackDown to see what Jey’s reaction will be to this backstabbing by his own brother.
