Dwayne Johnson said goodbye to the wrestling industry a long time ago. But he is still the talk of the WWE town. Despite not being an active personality in the business, he often is at the center of many wrestling-related discussions.

That said, Grayson Waller recently dragged him into a middle of a drama when the 33-year-old star took multiple shots at ‘The Great One’. He attempted to lure Johnson into the wrestling ring for a fight, but his efforts went down the drain. Now, he is claiming that Johnson is scared of the young WWE talent.

“I don’t think The Rock wanted to fight me,” Waller said about Dwayne Johnson

From mocking Johnson’s WWE debut outfit to taking digs at the wrestling icon on social media, Waller left no stone unturned to get under The Rock’s skin. But over the years dealing in the entertainment industry, Johnson has developed a thick skin.

That’s why Waller’s tactics to lure him into WWE didn’t work. But Waller states Johnson is not paying attention to his words because he is afraid of him and the up-and-coming stars of WWE. Waller recently had an interview with The Babyfaces podcast, where he made this claim.

He said, “The Rock is at a stage in his life where he knows if he gets back in the ring, all these young, hungry guys, we’re not going to sit down and show him the respect. We want to fight. I don’t think The Rock wanted to fight me.”

Adding further to his statement, he said that he gave Johnson the opportunity to return to WWE and engage with him, but Johnson let it go to waste. Therefore, he is not going to put more effort now and will shift his focus to someone else.

Grayson Waller had moved on from Johnson

During the interview, Waller stated he is not interested in feuding with Johnson anymore. He claimed that he tried to help Johnson by making him relevant in WWE again. But Johnson didn’t take his help, so now he no longer wants to get involved in the situation anymore.

He has shifted his focus and therefore will be devoting his time and energy to other people who are looking forward to accepting his help. He stated that ever since Johnson shot back with a dull response to his humiliating tweet about the wrestling icon, he has lost all interest in him.
