Hulk Hogan had a long career in professional wrestling and suffered injuries throughout his career. The most notable injury The Hulkster ever suffered was to his back. Although he has injured his other body parts, the most troublesome was his back.
Hogan is one of the wrestlers who has been sliced and diced multiple times in his life. This is due to the toll he took on his body all those years competing in the ring.

A couple of years ago, Hulk Hogan shared a picture showing his back post-surgery. In this picture, we can see the area where the doctors opened The Hulkster’s back.
Hogan, in his post, wrote a line from his promo at WrestleMania 4 before he went to face Andre the Giant. He wrote, “All the little hulkamaniacs can climb aboard the largest back in the world and I’ll doggie paddle them to safety brother!!”

Moreover, we can see the “IMMORTAL” tattoo on his back which he got around 2011. Also, a few years ago Hogan appeared for an interview on Fox News Objectified. There he told the host Harvey Levin about initially being almost 6’8” ft in height and now being 6’4” ft after all the surgeries.
The WWE Hall of Famer said, “I’ve had 17 surgeries over the last 10 years,” Hogan said … “My knees are fake, hips are fake, back is full of metal and part of my face is full of metal. I didn’t get the memo about the fake wrestling”
Also, Hogan showed off teeth marks on his finger, the result of a wrestling match from decades ago. Clearly, The Hulkster went all-in to give a great show to all his Hulkamaniacs, so that they can go home happy seeing their hero win.
Hulk Hogan didn’t know pro-wrestling was pre-determined!
Hulk Hogan is a 40-year veteran in the business, but initially, he never wanted to be a wrestler. He wanted to pursue music, but as his friends started leaving the band, he ended up choosing to wrestle. However, he was a fan of the business and thought everything was real (storyline-wise).
On his appearance in Objectified, Hogan said, “I was a huge fan. I mean I just loved it and I grew up watching it.”

He added, “I had a really good band, and right when we were ready to hit the road, one was getting married, one guy’s wife had a baby and nobody wanted to go. I said, that’s it, I’m done, I’m gonna go be a wrestler.”

The Immortal One recalled getting his ankle broken on the first day of training. However, he had the determination to become a wrestler, and he did. Further, Hogan recalled he didn’t really like contact sports, and until this day he didn’t have an answer to why he loved wrestling.
