WWE legend John Cena is currently flying high as one of the most demanded Hollywood heroes. The Cenation Leader transitioned into Hollywood back in 2006. He rose to the ranks to be part of one of the top-grossing franchises of the world, Fast and Furious, in their ninth installment. Cena as Jakob Toretto, received massive love from audiences. F9, in fact, was such an enormous success that its box office pushed the franchise over $6 billion globally.

It’s been a long road for Cena, from being a wrestling star to being a part of one of the most popular franchises in Hollywood. The wrestler-turned-actor believed that getting an invitation to play a part in the Fast series was all surreal.

John Cena teases his next Fast and Furious project ahead of Fast X’s release

Ahead of the release of the 10th installment of the franchise, Fast X, Cena appeared in an interview with Extratv. Addressing everyone’s common fantasy about getting started in the Fast franchise, the Peacemaker actor noted, “It’s great like it’s a golden ticket so as the franchise grows and the movie is spectacular and will entertain folks around the world.

He continued, “And I think now the franchise also said like hey we’re kind of closing at closing it down, so who wants in? I think that leads a lot of people to be like yeah, you know what I’d like to tick that box before the window closes.”

When the host asked about his potential for another project with the franchise in the future, Cena responded with a ‘hell yes.

However, Cena’s former WWE peer, The Rock’s future with the $6.6 billion company, is finally going to be much clear

Will the Rock return to the Fast and Furious franchise in the near future?

The Rock’s troubled relationship with Co actor Vince Diesel made him part ways with the franchise. The Rock last appeared in the hit franchise back in 2019 for the spin-off Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

The former WWE legend never fell short of success, despite not being with the biggest movie franchise anymore. But, he faced some serious setbacks in his recent big role in 2022’s Black Adam. However, finally, there is some good news for Luke Hobbs’ fans, as Johnson changed his mind and is all set to return to the franchise soon. He will reportedly have a cameo in the Fast X movie, a piece of news that stunned everyone, especially after his public denial to be back to the franchise last year.

While further details about his cameo are yet to be disclosed, fans are still busy processing this big surprise.

Speaking of the new powerhouse of the fast saga, John Cena, fans are eagerly waiting to see the reruns of Jacob Toretto on theater on May 19.
