The Rock had a very humble upbringing and struggling life. At times, his family did not have money to pay the rent. But, from that point in life, he has grown and reached a point, where he is the highest-paid actor in the world. In spite of such achievements, he is very humble and is hardly related to any sort of controversy.

However, once, he was involved in one of Hollywood’s most infamous and heated rivalries. During his time in WWE, Johnson has been involved in various feuds, but mostly they used to be reel-life feuds and just for television. However, when The Brahma Bull was introduced in the Fast & Furious franchise in 2011, he soon got involved in a real-life feud with Vin Diesel.

Dwayne Johnson joined the team during the fifth film of the franchise. And their rivalry became public and a talking point during their eighth film, The Fate of the Furious. In 2021, Johnson opened up to Vanity Fair regarding his and Vin Diesel’s feud.

He stated that he returned to the franchise on one condition that he and Diesel had no scene together. The Rock said, “I wanted to forego drama. I thought that was the best thing to do. For everybody.” After a mere incident, where Johnson posted a controversial post on Instagram but later deleted it. However, a meeting had taken place between him and Diesel.

The 50-year-old stated that it was not a peaceful meeting. He said, “Well, there was a meeting. I wouldn’t call it a peaceful meeting. I would call it a meeting of clarity. He and I had a good chat in my trailer.” The Rock revealed that it was through this meeting that a lot of things became clear, and they decided to leave the matter there.

When Hobbs & Shaw came out, Diesel skipped the chance to be a part of the film. Also, Johnson decided not to be a part of the ninth, tenth, or even eleventh installment of the film.

Meanwhile, the critics didn’t give the best review for the movie, considering different aspects of it. The fans, on the other side, were loving. Fans stormed the theaters to watch Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam and a possible cameo.
