Drew McIntyre has proved to be worthy of his nickname, “The Chosen One”. The Scottish Warrior, who was handpicked by the former chairperson Vince McMahon himself, gained his name in the WWE quickly. One of his biggest achievements was beating even The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania 36.

The rivalry between both wrestlers started when McIntyre eliminated The Beast in the Royal Rumble match. Both superstars had a dispute that led to their match at WrestleMania. The Scottish Warrior won that championship against all odds.

In an interview, Drew McIntyre explained defeating Brock Lesnar and winning the title as a “lifelong goal”. Since WrestleMania took place at the peak time of Covid-19, McIntyre had to celebrate his win in an empty arena with no spectators.

During a recent interview with The Independent, McIntyre revealed how he celebrated his victory over The Beast with his wife. “It was wild. Watching with the rest of the world on the couch with my wife, two cats, and some popcorn, with my family on FaceTime in Scotland. My favorite part of it all was as the referee presented me with the title, Kaitlyn presented me with the title. It was pretty cool,” said McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre described his victory gracefully

Drew McIntyre opened up about his victory against Lesnar and revealed how he accidentally broke the fourth wall. McIntyre looked into the camera and spoke, which is against the rule of the promotion.

“I had a very clear vision of how I felt with what was going on in the world at the time and what everybody had sacrificed to get me to that moment. I even reached out to the camera and said thank you, I assumed it would be edited because we’re not supposed to look down the camera and break the fourth wall. But it stayed in there and it was my WrestleMania moment. It was very cool.”

Drew McIntyre has proved himself a worthy opponent at the promotion over the years. His next opponent is going to be Roman Reigns. Both the superstars have claimed their assured victory inside and outside the ring. McIntyre claimed in an interview that he is looking to beat Roman Reigns in a record time.
