No one in the entertainment business is prone to being dragged by the fans that cheer for them. Fans turn on stars as soon as they don’t get what they want. Some stars go on the defensive, apologizing and promising the fans that it will get better in the future. Some let their actions speak louder than the hate, something that Triple H has been doing all along while running the creative side of WWE recently.

But then there are a few stars who go on the offensive. Tearing down the haters who question them, proving their skills and abilities in the ring and on the internet. Former WWE Women’s champion just took that route when the hate was piling up against her following her SummerSlam match.

Former champion lambasts haters on the internet

On Twitter, the former WWE Women’s Champion, Asuka, took down her detractors a notch with a series of tweets. Directly tagging the now-deleted tweets, Asuka told the WWE Universe that she doesn’t flatter the media. She did the same thing during her time in Japan, something that media houses held against her, and still do according to her.

She listed that Triple H, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch are the ones supporting her and she isn’t alone in facing hate from the media, like in Japan.

Working in WWE since 2015, Asuka is a woman who has cemented her position in the company. Despite being from Japan, the Empress of Tomorrow is a cornerstone in women’s wrestling in America, especially WWE.

Asuka’s meteoric rise in WWE

Back in the Gold and Black era of NXT, Asuka was the biggest women’s star in the brand. Her undefeated streak challenged WWE legend, Goldberg’s WCW undefeated streak. In NXT, the Empress proved why he is built for the American wrestling world, playing the deadly assassin who could put down anyone in her path.

Winning the Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, Raw, and SmackDown women’s championships, and being a tag champion as well isn’t the only reason WWE fans celebrate Asuka. Apart from her records and streaks, Asuka has always put entertained the fans in any scenario she was put in, whether it was the Kabuki Warriors or her poison mist days.
