A few years ago, Tony Khan and AEW stepped foot into the professional wrestling business. And today, some fans believe AEW is a threat to Vince McMahon and WWE in terms of ratings and competition.

In recent times, we have seen AEW getting the better of WWE at certain times. But it looks like another person will soon rival Vince McMahon in this professional wrestling business.

During a recent episode of Wrestling with Freddie, former WWE producer, Freddie Prinze Jr., talked about running his own pro wrestling promotion.

He revealed he wants to get his own pro wrestling promotion running in 18 months.

Freddie Prinze Jr. also talked about having live shows at the beginning as he doubts he will have a TV contract right away.

After that, he revealed how he wants to give the men and women equal time on the roster and some other details about his pro wrestling promotion.

The former WWE producer said, “I want my storylines based in reality. I want to give the women and the men equal time on the roster. And then the goal is to bring the show to television.”

Soon after this, Freddie Prinze Jr. revealed he wants it to be a SAG show.

“What that means is I want it to be a union show, which would mean each and every single one of my wrestlers would be a member of the Screen Actors Guild and be entitled to all the insurance, medical benefits, and retirement plans that entails,” Freddie Prinze Jr. added.

Will Freddie Prinze Jr. be able to challenge Vince McMahon like Tony Khan?

It will be interesting to see how Freddie Prinze Jr. will go ahead with his own wrestling promotions. He has previously worked with Mr. McMahon and WWE.
