But the third highest-paid WWE legend would come as a surprise as the company is paying him huge money even though he hasn’t had a match for a year due to injury.

Who is the highest-paid star behind Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns?

Recently, Wrestling Observer Newsletter shared a report by Dave Meltzer regarding the highest-paid WWE superstars. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have taken the first two spots. But 14-time world champion Randy Orton is in the third spot, even though not wrestled for nearly a year.

Meltzer wrote, “Orton, 43, has always expressed the idea of wanting to work safely (and he’s got the name value and style where he can get over working safely compared to most smaller guys without the same name value) and go until he’s 50. He is believed to be one of the highest paid guys on the active roster, on the men’s side believed to be behind Reigns and Lesnar and nobody else.” (H/T TJR Wrestling)

As per Give Me Sport covered in 2023, Lesnar earns $5.04 million, Roman Reigns earns $5.02 million and Orton earned $4 million. Furthermore, they are followed by Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch earning $3.5 and $3.12 million each.

Moreover, ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton told the wrestling world that doctors have advised ‘The Legend Killer’ not to wrestle further. Randy Orton himself has given no update on his return to WWE until now. Nevertheless, fans shared their reaction to ‘The Apex Predator’ being the third highest-paid star in WWE.
