The wrestling world is always picking up hints on their favorite stars’ in-ring return. Currently, there is wide speculation regarding the WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam’s potential in-ring return.

RVD has been one of the most influential stars in the business possessing a decorative in-ring career over the years. His first run in the company lasted for 6 years, which was enough for him to earn numerous accolades. He started his second WWE run in 2013, only to wrap it up within a year.

As part of his few sporadic appearances in the company, RVD turned up in his old wrestling home to announce the second-round WWE draft picks alongside Michael Hayes on SmackDown. It added fuel to the fire of the already existing speculation of his in-ring return after 9 years of detachment.

His very presence in the arena triggered the hope of seeing him back in action. One of the fans couldn’t control his urge and ended up posting a tweet regarding this. The tweet says, ‘In all honesty, I was really hoping @TherealRVD was gonna draft himself to a show! Oh well! Maybe next draft!’

Much to everyone’s surprise, the post saw RVD reacting with a retweet. The legend himself wrote in the caption, ‘I’ve heard that quite a bit.’

However, the veteran’s next destination can also be elsewhere other than WWE, at least his latest tweet hinted so.
