After Accusing Rey Mysterio of Making Bucks Through His Family’s Name, Chavo Guerrero Demands the WWE Legend to Donate Money to Eddie Guerrero’s Daughters

Rey Mysterio holds immense respect for his real-life best friend, Eddie Guerrero. The WWE Universe often sees him pay tribute to his old buddy in one way or the other. Recently, at WrestleMania 39, he entered the arena using Los Guerreros’ Lie, Cheat & Steal’ theme as Snoop Dog drove him into the ring in a lowrider car.

However, Eddie Guerrero’s nephew, Chavo Guerrero, says that he doesn’t believe that Mysterio uses his uncle’s name because of the love or respect he has for him. He criticized the WWE Hall of Famer for using the Guerrero surname for clout and selfish reasons. For this reason, he has again lashed out at him on Twitter.

Chavo Guerrero criticizes Rey Mysterio again

Mysterio’s tribute to the Latino Heat at WrestleMania 39 really touched everyone’s heart. Even Mrs. Guerrero felt emotional after watching the ultimate sign of respect for her husband at The Showcase of Immortals this year. However, Chavo didn’t buy any of it.

He, recently via his official Twitter handle, shared a message to the Master of 619. In his message, he wrote that if he is really using his uncle’s name out of the goodness in his heart, then he would have no problem donating some money to charity as a sign of respect to his old friend.

Furthermore, he thinks the Masked Luchador should help his best friend’s daughters financially if he really cares for him and his loved ones. He then says that this gesture will help him and the fans believe that he really cares for his real-life best friend and he is not using the Guerrero name for money.

This is not the first time Chavo has been vocal about his opinion on Rey Mysterio using his family’s last name in his storylines. Just a couple of days ago, during a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, he took out his frustration on the WWE Hall of Famer using the Guerrero name for his own benefit.

He mentioned his uncle had built the Guerrero name with years of hard work. And he feels “tired” of The Ultimate Underdog taking advantage of it. He does feel thankful that Mysterio is trying to keep his uncle’s memory alive. But he also thinks the Guerrero name doesn’t need anyone’s help.
