The goal of Seth Rollins’s revenge on Aaron Rodgers is clear. A huge NFL fan, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is an ardent supporter of the Chicago Bears. Aaron Rodgers often beat the Chicago Bears while playing for the Green Bay Packers, which has been a point of contention for Rollins. Even though Rodgers is no longer in the same division as the Bears—he is a New York Jet now—Rollins still remembers the years of sloppy play.
Why does Rollins want to curb-stomp Rodgers?
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Seth Rollins named Aaron Rodgers as the professional player he would most want to curb stomp. “It’s got to be Aaron Rodgers, man. I’m a Bears fan–I had to deal with that for years and years and years. Just suffering, him just owning my team. By the end of it, he was just making light of it because it was so easy for him. I’d love to put a boot in the back of his head. That’d be great,” Seth Rollins stated.

As a wrestler Rollins isn’t much opposed to using violence to get what he wants. While he wants to curb-stomp Rodgers, it’s unlikely that he’ll be able to do so. However, this isn’t true for one personality that Rollins has been eyeing for quite some time now. Rollins said something similar about CM Punk during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff and while it was more likely that the two would butt heads, it doesn’t seem likely anymore.

But lately, a few adjustments have been necessary. Both superstars’ medical conditions forced the cancellation of their scheduled confrontation at “The Show of Shows”.

During his interview with Denise Salcedo at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Event, Seth Rollins continued his criticism of CM Punk. He explained why he felt the match should not have taken place.
As of last year’s Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event, Rollins has been upset since CM Punk returned to WWE. Except for Seth Rollins, fans were ecstatic to see “The Best In The World” return to Chicago.
