Labeled as The Ultimate Underdog, Rey Mysterio has been one of the greatest luchadors in WWE history. Despite his tiny figure, the Mexican legend has never shied away from locking horns against giants. In his illustrious career, Mysterio has faced off with the likes of The Big Show, The Great Khali, and The Undertaker, among others.
Speaking of The Phenom, Mysterio has battled the icon on a number of occasions. In a recent appearance on the Hawk vs Wolf podcast, The Deadman recalled the time when he got hit badly by the luchador.

During the conversation, The Undertaker revealed Mysterio had caused him an injury that he carries even today. Taker highlighted that Rey jumped off the top rope and landed on his face, resulting in a broken one. However, there was much praise from the 2022 Hall of Famer for Rey Mysterio as he labeled the latter as a “sweetheart.”

“Rey Mysterio, tiny guy, sweetheart of a guy, he ended up jumping off the top rope, and his ass was supposed to hit me in the chest, but it hit me right in the face. It was a bony a**. Bony a**, right on the bridge of my nose. He lands, I have all of his weight on my head, I hit the mat and blew out the other one. I broke my nose and I was concussed. It’s hard being injured by an anus.”
He continued, My nose was broke, I fixed my nose right there, I just squeezed my nose back. The second one, to this day and it’s probably been 15 years, I still have double vision.”
The Undertaker made a recent appearance on RAW XXX
The crowd pops are always as loud as they can get when The Undertaker walks down the ramp. The viewers got to witness The Phenom recently on the 30th anniversary of RAW when he came out in his American Badass character riding a motorcycle.
The segment saw a confrontation between The Undertaker and Bray Wyatt before the latter floored LA Knight. Before signing off, The Deadman whispered a few words to the former Fiend, which left the crowd guessing what they could be.

As far as The Undertaker’s next match is concerned, there are currently no plans to bring him back from retirement. However, we are always entitled to believe that he will be wrestling again, as the man himself said last year – “never say never.”
