WWE Superstar Randy Orton and AEW stars Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler had once formed an alliance in WWE. Although it was short-lived, it was an excellent run.

In a recent tweet, Dax Harwood remembered the time he spent with Wheeler and Orton and what FTR could have done had Wheeler and Dax been with WWE at the moment.

“GEYOTDAMN! My favorite time on the main roster. What could’ve been, boys! @RandyOrton @CashWheelerFTR,” said Dax Harwood.”

Orton formed an alliance with The Revival to bring down The New Day. This happened soon after he couldn’t defeat Kofi Kingston at WWE SummerSlam for the title.

During this time, Big E was still a part of the faction. At WWE Clash of Champions 2019, Harwood and Wheeler took down Big E and Xavier Woods. Randy Orton had a battle with Kofi Kingston, where ‘The Viper’ lost.

Randy Orton, Harwood, and Wheeler had a number of matches against The New Day on SmackDown, and the group earned significant popularity among fans as well. Unfortunately, their run was short-lived, and each of them moved on with new storylines and companies.

What are Randy Orton and The Revival currently doing?

In 2020, The Revival, Harwood and Wheeler, got their release from WWE. Both of them moved to AEW to enhance their wrestling careers under the name FTR.

They’ve had matches against the likes of Kenny Omega and Hangman Page and became the AEW tag team champions in 2020. Currently, they’re working with MJF’s faction, The Pinnacle.

On the other hand, Randy Orton remained in WWE, but he was moved from SmackDown to Raw. He has been making major progress on the red brand. In fact, he has already been the WWE Champion during his time on Raw.

Currently, he is in a tag team with Matt Riddle. The unusual partnership has intrigued the viewers and the fans.

Both of them are two ends of a spectrum, and WWE putting them in a tag team has worked off well to get the Universe to engage with this team.
