AEW Star Saraya Shares Her Honest Opinion on WWE Using Her Clip During Raw

The AEW star Saraya, who was popular among WWE fans with the ring name Paige, is once again in the spotlight.

Saraya has set several records in WWE that include her being the youngest Divas champion and first-ever NXT women’s champion. She was at the zenith of her career until the day she left the ring because of a serious neck injury in 2017. However, she restarted her career as a wrestler in 2022 with AEW.

Even though Saraya has said ‘goodbye’ to Vince McMahon’s company, the creatives of the Stamford-based promotion used footage of her on this week’s Raw. And when fans raised the question about it, Saraya’s honest answer left them jaw-dropped.

Saraya reacts to WWE still using her clip

Recently, a fan asked the 30-year-old AEW star about WWE using her clip during Raw. To this, she gave an honest reply that no one could have imagined.

Saraya said that it is not as deep as people are portraying it to be. Moreover, she worked for the WWE for a very long time and never left the company on bad terms. The former WWE Divas champion reiterated that the usage of her clip meant that both WWE and AEW appreciated her.

Saraya wrote, “It’s not the deep. I was there a very long time. I didn’t leave on bad terms. I think it’s awesome that I can be part of my AEW family and still be showcased in my WWE family.”

Before leaving Vince McMahon’s company, Saraya filmed an A&E documentary series named ‘Biography: WWW Legends’. Her episode is set to air on March 19th. WWE used the clip of that episode to promote it on Raw, this week.

Despite Saraya leaving WWE on good terms, the sky is the limit for the wrestler in her new lease on life at AEW.

Saraya’s non-controversial yet shocking departure

Saraya left WWE in 2022. She infamously announced her departure via Twitter. Even though her departure was not controversial, it still shocked the WWE Universe as she was doing pretty well with her non-wrestling role in WWE. Some fans were even worried when she joined AEW as the first-ever NXT women’s champion was away from in-ring action because of a major injury.

Currently, Saraya is enjoying her run in Tony Khan’s AEW. She is one of the major female wrestlers there. Right now, she is feuding with Dr Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. She is also the part of AEW heel stable ‘The Outcasts’.
