The battle between the two leading wrestling companies in North America has been going on since the AEW started in 2019. While soaring above NXT in its early days, the company has been unable to make more numbers than SmackDown on Fridays. But the battle has just begun, it will take a few more years until Tony Khan can go all out or all in with his company.

While many have believed that Triple H‘s ascension to the head of creative will turn the tide in WWE’s favor, Khan still believes in his company. In a recent skirmish on Twitter, the company’s CEO, booker, and owner brought out WWE’s sworn court filings to shut a hater on Twitter.

Tony Khan uses court filings to justify his case against haters

When the host of the American football show, Up and Adams, Key Adams posted a photo with The Sopranos’ Bobby Bacala, played by Steve Schirripa, Tony Khan responded with the show’s meme. Someone on the internet quoted Khan and spewed some hatred, but surprisingly, Khan responded, “You will never win a fight with Sopranos twitter.

This led an anonymous person to reply to this tweet by saying he can never win a fight with WWE. This might have irked Khan, as he replied that he was actually winning given WWE’s own sworn court filings.

While he doesn’t explain which filings he is referring to, it is pretty evident, it is the MLW lawsuit last year.

For those who don’t recall, MLW filed a lawsuit against WWE over, clamping down on competition. But the biggest sports entertainment company swore in the court that AEW’s recent rise goes against MLW’s claim. Tony Khan’s actions might come out of nowhere for some wrestling, but this isn’t the first time that the CEO of AEW has taken to Twitter to air out his grievances or other things.

One of the biggest things that made headlines last year was Vince McMahon‘s exit from WWE. Tony Khan didn’t take much time to tweet out a snub at WWE about their biggest loss in years.

But that isn’t all, Khan is popular on Twitter to air out his laundry with wrestlers like Big Swole or Randy Orton.

One time he just plainly talked about anti-AEW bots roaming around trying to diminish his company. Also, recently he called out Ariel Helwani for appearing on WWE SmackDown.
