AEW has done the double and signed Paul Wight (Big Show in WWE) and Christian Cage (Christian in WWE) under two weeks. Tony Khan just keeps pulling rabbits out of his hat, and they just keep coming.

Judging by the way the promotion has been surprising its fans, some people have been cooking up the wildest speculations on who will show up next in AEW, and the names include CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, RVD, and even Kurt Angle!

However, wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer has ideas of his own, and in a recent tweet, he joked that Vince McMahon himself had signed for AEW!

This was, of course, in response to the wild rumors on the new singing that took place before AEW Revolution. Dreamer was just joking around and fans reacted even more hilariously.

As mentioned above, fans have been going wild with speculations on who Tony Khan has signed next, and some teaser announcement posters depicted the signing of Kermit The Frog!

Vince McMahon has been called out by a rival promotion before

Although it is definitely out of the ballpark, Vince McMahon being called out to a rival promotion isn’t something that has not taken place before.

In 1999, at the peak of WCW’s dominance over WWE, WCW President Eric Bischoff openly called out Vince McMahon to a one-on-one fight on Monday Nitro and set a timer.

After Vince obviously did not show up, Bischoff ordered the referee to count the WWE Chairman out and declared himself the winner. We may not see the same thing with Tony Khan, but we can expect huge signings to come.

Kurt Angle set the wrestling world ablaze by teasing his comeback in a promo video, hours before AEW Revolution. Fans were half expecting him to show up, but it turned out Christian in another pleasant surprise.

Since Angle is a free agent, there isn’t anything preventing AEW from reaching out to him. Unless he truly has hung up his boots, we may see Angle going to AEW for one final run.

Tony Khan has solidified the main roster through the signing of big names. With this, the younger Superstars have ample space to develop and make names for themselves.

As a character, Darby Allin has progressed well with Sting, and other associations could be formed using this as an example.
