Hikaru Shida put down Thunder Rosa at AEW All Out to secure a magnificent win for the Women’s World Championship title.
Hikaru Shida retains her title in an epic clash against Thunder Rosa
The entire match was fast-paced and intense. Just a few minutes into the match, Hikaru Shida set up a chair ringside to use it as a launchpad. However, Thunder Rosa caught wind of it and attacked Shida with a dropkick.

Following that, Rosa attacked Shida with a surfboard move and a swift kick to her head.
It can be safely assumed that Rosa was dominating the match for the first couple of minutes.

When Shida finally got her pace, she used several moves on Thunder Rosa like the jumping knee strike, running kick, and even a suplex. There was a point during the match when Hikaru Shida tried to use a suplex on Thunder Rosa outside the ring. Unfortunately for Shida, Rosa countered that moved with a Death Valley Driver.
Shida managed to revive soon and turned the match around with yet another suplex along with a Meteora on Rosa. This sequence took place on the ramp that leads to the ring.
Now, coming to the end of the match, Hikaru Shida attacked Thunder Rosa with a Falcon Arrow. Regrettably, she was not too successful with it. In fact, Rosa took advantage of this moment to pin down Shida.
To turn things around in her favor, the World No. 1 tried to lock her opponent in the stretch muffler submission. Even at this point, Rosa kept fighting back with heavy strikes to Hikaru Shida’s face.

However, Hikaru Shida concluded the match to retain the World Championship title by attacking Rosa with a backstabber and running knee to the face.
