We are just a few days away from AEW All Out. Building up to the PPV, AEW CEO Tony Khan hosted a special media conference call to hype up the event.
One of the questions asked to Tony Khan was about the biggest high in his career since the inception of AEW. Khan replied by saying that the AEW PPV ‘Double or Nothing’ was the highest point of his career.
Khan called the Double or Nothing PPV a “bastion of ingenuity.” The next sentence uttered by him created headlines everywhere.

Khan said he was fortunate that they were able to run the show even as the pandemic struck. He also claimed AEW was the only company doing meaningful testing, taking another dig at WWE.
AEW Double or Nothing had matches like Jungle Boy vs. MJF and Brodie Lee vs. Jon Moxley. The Casino Ladder match also saw Brian Cage’s debut for the company.

Tony Khan also clarified all queries about AEW’s brand extension. Here is what Khan had to say about AEW’s new show and AEW dark.
“AEW Dark will not be brought in as the third hour, and that it will remain on YouTube. The new show will be launched in the next year. A lot of work left to be done, market testing, etc.”
Currently, one AEW show is good enough to challenge the WWE. Vince McMahon certainly has something to worry about with AEW planning another show.
