Adam Cole might be done with NXT now. His loss against Kyle O’Reilly tonight at WWE NXT Takeover 36 event in a 2 out of 3 Falls match might be his final rodeo.

O’Reilly finally settled the score with his former partner. Both wrestlers settled the score for good who had each gotten a win in their previous two matches.

As per PWInsider, tonight’s Takeover 36 loss was Cole’s last appearance with the NXT brand; however, the WWE officials have still not said a word regarding his current stay.

Earlier this month, Cole was involved in a ‘high-profile’ meeting with WWE chairman Vince McMahon regarding his WWE contract. Cole’s contract expired months ago, but he signed an extension that was about to end after SummerSlam.

It will be interesting to notice what will be the next move for Adam Cole because higher WWE personnel reported that Vince McMahon took a ‘liking’ to Cole.

Maybe the WWE is planning to move Cole on the main roster; however, the silence from the WWE authorities clearly makes the wrestling fans speculate all sorts of possibilities.

Will Adam Cole move elsewhere?

Cole has had a tremendous run as an NXT superstar, giving splendid matches with almost everyone on the roster. His accolades as a wrestler have been a treat of eyes for the WWE Universe.

However, with AEW monitoring released WWE wrestlers, it is a possibility that Tony Khan might get in contact with Cole to offer him a deal.

It is certainly possible because the world just witnesses the comeback of CM Punk after seven long years, so it seems inevitable that Khan will contact Adam Cole.

Cole’s roots are already running deep in AEW as he is engaged to AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker. Stay tuned with us for further developments on this matter.
