Hardcore legend, Mick Foley had some good words for the matchup between the RAW women’s champion Rhea Ripley and women’s tag team champion Natalya on RAW this week.

Both the female wrestlers faced this week’s RAW and gave a stellar performance, which helped elevate the show. Mick Foley turned to Twitter and congratulated both of them for their performances.

“THOROUGHLY ENJOYED that match!” Foley tweeted.

This is not the first time when Foley praised Ripley, he has been rooting the young talent since her days in NXT and even tweeted his excitement before her main roster debut. He tagged WWE saying that they should not mess up Ripley’s character once she debuts on the main roster stating she should not suffer a “50-50” fate in the main roster.

“It’s vital that @WWE not mess around when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE PLEASE don’t allow her to suffer a 50/50 fate. Strap that rocket to her back, and see how far she can fly.” he tweeted.

The two started off with a basic back and forth of holds and strikes. It was not long when Ripley hit the first major strike with a kick to the ribs. Both the wrestlers were later involved in a series of pinning combinations.

Rhea and Nat showed a tremendous ability to counter each other’s moves and worked some good spots all over the ring. Tamina tried to get involved in the match-up but ended up getting hit by a dropkick.

Natalya did an impeccable job in selling every move Ripley, establishing her dominance in the ring.

Ripley then hit ‘The Queen of Harts’ hit her with Riptide for the pin and the win. Ripley got up to celebrate the victory and was soon attacked by Charlotte Flair who is facing her at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. She put the RAW women’s champ into a Figure-Four submission lock and made a solid statement before the PPV.
