Vince McMahon has always been a fitness freak. Even at such an age, he has maintained a peak physique. It is also reported that he prefers wrestlers with good physical conditions and does not prefer or like overweight superstars.

For a long time, superstars with beefed-up physiques were preferred in WWE, no matter their wrestling abilities. McMahon preferred Braun over anything else, and it was clear in the superstars he pushed in the company.

Recently, during an exclusive podcast with EssentiallySports titled, ‘The Essentially Rasslin Podcast’, Rob Kligman, the former VP of WWE, shared he enjoyed working out with McMahon. Kligman opened up about his bond with Vince McMahon.

Speaking on the podcast, he said,It was pretty amazing to be honest with you to have the opportunity to talk and be with him. And I luckily bonded with him very well. We worked out at the WWE gym very often.”

The former Vice President of WWE continued, When Vince would come on those Saturday mornings with me, and I would see him, it was my best workout ever because, he is as much a visionary and work addict as he is.”

“He is disciplined when it comes to working out and you can see it with his body today. His mind and body are just in perfect shape and it was just an energizing opportunity for me to be in the same room and work out with him. I love working out.”

He also mentioned the energy and excitement of working out with Vince McMahon was one of a kind. Kligman said, But the energy and the excitement behind working out with him in the same gym, which was usually only a couple of people. Myself, maybe Vince and maybe one other person… And I had the best workouts ever.”

WWE Superstar Bayley speaks on the transition from Vince McMahon to Triple H

WWE Superstar Bayley returned at SummerSlam 2022, after being sidelined for a long time due to an injury. Speaking on ‘The Five Count’ podcast, she said, “It’s still so weird to me, when the news broke that he [Vince McMahon] was retiring…”

She continued, “Fortunately, for me, I’ve worked with Triple H for years since being in NXT and we have such a great relationship and he understands what I’ve been through and where I want to go and how I view my character and things like that. In that sense, it’s been so awesome. I can see a shift, it’s kinda like a new relationship, is how everybody feels. Everybody has a little extra spunk in them because it’s different.”

She claimed how it felt weird with Triple H, and how it felt like she was back seven years ago. Bayley and Finn Balor were champions in NXT at the same time under Triple H.
