She praised Punk for his contribution to AEW and his passion for wrestling. Despite the controversies surrounding Punk, she feels happy for him and also lays down a warning for him.

Thunder Rosa was at work when Punk made a sudden appearance at Survivor Series last week. She got phone calls from people informing her about the shocking moment. She said, “I have to confess, it was a touch of heartbreak and happiness. I love Phil [Punk’s real name], as a person. I want him to be successful.”
Thunder Rosa was working at AEW when Punk made a shocking return to the wrestling business after a 9-year hiatus. His return made headlines for AEW as his presence elevated the company’s status.
Rosa acknowledged the contribution of Punk and wished things could have been different. She said, “I wish things would have gone completely different and that he was still working with us.” It was a reference to the controversial firing of CM Punk from AEW after the backstage issues at AEW All In PPV. The decision to release Punk was taken by a disciplinary committee involving Daniel Bryan.
But Rosa is happy for Punk and admires his passion for the wrestling business. She said, “I’m really happy that he is fulfilling his dream because he loves professional wrestling and he has a very strong passion for professional wrestling.”

Though Rosa praised Punk, she also laid down a warning for him about his new WWE run.

Rosa warns CM Punk about his run in WWE
Punk’s run in AEW was marred by injuries, backstage heat, and controversies. Despite this, Rosa feels that he deserves a second chance. However, Rosa feels that this might be Punk’s last run in the wrestling business.
She said, “This is a way that everybody needs to recognize that Phil has had many chances and this is his last chance in professional wrestling. A lot of people thought it was never going to happen and it was a huge surprise.”
