John Cena has one of the most impressive physiques in all of sports entertainment. And to maintain such a physique, one has to have extreme determination and a strong will. A strict diet and a challenging workout regime are a must for having such a godly physique.
Other professional bodybuilders, such as Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger, also had such peak figures. And they maintained it crazy as well. YouTuber Aseel Soueid took up the challenge of eating like Cena a few years ago. In the end, he felt it to be a “Death Sentence”!
Imitating The Cenation Leader, he began the day with a hearty breakfast of 6 egg whites and 2 whole eggs, and oatmeal with raisins with a side of apple sauce. His second meal consisted of a protein bar, followed by his third meal of rice, vegetables and chicken breast. His fourth post-workout meal consisted of canned tuna in a pita bread. Soueid said, “I literally want to throw up… The whole apartment smells so bad. If you have a date, don’t ever eat tuna. It’s a death sentence.”
The fifth meal consisted of a smoothie. However, his next meal was again composed of rice, chicken breasts, and vegetables. His seventh and final meal of the day consisted of whey protein powder mixed with low-fat cottage cheese.
Cena eats 3613 calories daily, consisting of 448 grams of carbs, 289 grams of protein, and 63 grams of fat. His previous challenges have seen him gulping down the diets of Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, this might have been one of the blandest diets he has tried.
What does John Cena’s workout routine look like?
After consuming 3613 calories each day, one has to make sure they workout in a similar fashion to achieve those gains. And rightfully so, Cena works out like a savage. He follows one of the toughest and most extreme workout routines, to see extreme gains.
