“A Beautiful Ceremony”: Dwayne Johnson Once Justified Giving Millionaire Hollywood Actress a Namesake Invite for His Second Wedding

Dwayne Johnson got married for the second time in 2019. The Hollywood celebrity tied the knot with Lauren Hashian in Hawaii. He had dated Hashian for several years before getting married. The marriage of a big-time celebrity like The Rock drew a lot of attention from the media and other celebrities alike.

But the marriage ceremony was kept private, which meant many people probably missed out on attending it. The Rock’s co-star in ‘Jungle Cruise’, popular British actor Emily Blunt, was one of those who couldn’t attend.

Blunt complained to ‘The Great One’ for inviting her late to the wedding, causing her to miss out on the occasion.

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt had a blast during the promotion of ‘Jungle Cruise’. The duo attended many interviews and enjoyed each other’s company. Just before the release of the movie, the former WWE Champion got married to Hashian in an intimate ceremony.

After the release of the movie, she spoke about his marriage to ‘Hollywood Access’. The Rock gave some details about the ceremony in Hawaii. He said, “It was a beautiful ceremony, and it was phenomenal. We kept it under wraps. It was private.”

Blunt agreed that it was so private even she didn’t get an invitation. The Rock came up with a witty remark, saying, “You did, you got an e-vite”.

However, Blunt was quick to remind him that she had received the invitation late. She said, “It came way too late; I was shooting in the depths of Buffalo, heard about the wedding and then like an hour or later you were married. So I don’t have any opportunity to jump on a plane and celebrate this.”

It seems though there is no grudge between the two celebrities over this issue and seems to get along quite well.

While promoting ‘Jungle Cruise’, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt were involved in many hilarious interviews. On one occasion, the acting duo talked about how it felt kissing each other during the movie. Blunt remarked that it wasn’t a pleasant experience while The Brahma Bull poked fun at her, saying he practiced for the kissing scenes with his dog.

The stars became good friends during the shooting of the movie, and it was evident in the interviews. Fans would definitely like to see more of this charismatic pairing in the future.
