Last year, Dwayne Johnson’s most anticipated film, Black Adam released. However, the film failed to hit the mark with the critics. Although, the fans loved the film and the action it portrayed, along-with the much awaited performance, it still failed to impress the critics.
Black Adam was also unable to muster a desirable number at the box-office. However, another critically acclaimed film from nine years ago recently made history.

Dennis Villenvue’s Prisoners is a highly acclaimed film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. The movie came out in 2013, and after nine years, it has finally reached the top spot as a streamed movie in the USA.
A few months after releasing in theaters in October, Black Adam was released on the OTT platforms as well. Black Adam lost to a decade old film of Hugh Jackman. A report by Comicbook.com states that Prisoners was watched 85o million minutes in a week, while Black Adam was watched just 630 million minutes.
2014 mythological film had Johnson in a weird costume
Becoming an actor and performing in movies takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Acting is not a simple thing, and it takes extreme hardwork. Often an actor needs to get into shape or undergo long hours of makeup.

Similarly for the 2014 film, Hercules, Dwayne Johnson underwent a massive physique transformation. He also had to undergo three and a half hours of makeup sessions everyday to get into his look as Hercules. However, the beard which Dwayne Johnson sported in the film, was made using pubic hair of a yak.

This particular type of hair was chosen since it was soft, and would not irritate the skin of Johnson.
