Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to social media to talk about his family’s journey and mention the time that had a tremendous impact on him.
In the post, The Rock revealed the details of Thanksgiving 1987. This was the year when his family had been through their roughest patch. He gave an insight into how the family went through one obstacle after another to finally find solace at a friend’s house.
“‘87 was a rough one for us. Got our a*ses kicked pretty good. Got evicted off the island of Hawaii. Forced to move to Nashville. 8 weeks later, things went to sh*t in Nashville and we were forced to finally move to Bethlehem, PA.”

He raised a toast with his mother, Ata Johnson, using his Tequila brand, Teremana, and spoke to his fans while his mother became emotional, remembering the struggle they had to endure.
The Rock has passed on the responsibility of the family legacy
The Rock has been an influential pro-wrestler when he was working with WWE. He made a name for himself and became a popular icon amongst the WWE Universe.
He carried his family’s legacy on his shoulders for all the years he was walking the WWE ring. Now, his cousin Roman Reigns has taken on the challenge to move the family legacy forward.
There is a popular notion that if The Rock ever returns to the ring, it will be against his cousin Roman Reigns. Both Reigns and he believe it will be a great idea for his return, but as of now, he will not move forward with it.
