The feud between Pat McAfee, Austin Theory, and Vince McMahon has been in progress for a while. Austin Theory, McMahon’s protégé, involved himself by promising his assistance to the boss even before McMahon appeared in Pat McAfee Show. Further, the WWE boss offered McAfee a match in WrestleMania and Theory picked it up constantly taunting McAfee.
However, the segment was filled with surprises as Mr. McMahon first beat up Pat McAfee and later faced a stunner from The Texas Rattlesnake. Looking back at the physical challenges the 76-year-old took, the concerns of WWE’s creative team had been normal. According to the recent report by Fightful Select, the creative team expressed how they thought it was a terrible idea for him to wrestle.

The WWE CEO had a laugh with his team re-watching his WrestleMania segment
McMahon had made the decision to fight a few months ago, as per the report. The match between Austin Theory and Pat McAfee ended with the NFL Punter enjoying the victory. But, the 76-year-old head of WWE entered the ring and pinned down McAfee. Nonetheless, his celebration only lasted until ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin rushed into the stage. Further, Austin 3:16 shared beers with ‘The Higher Power’ and hit him with a shocking stunner, which turned out to be a botch.

Moreover, the report said that while the team alongside Vince McMahon re-watched the segment and there were ”plenty of laughs”. Mr. McMahon laughed at his poor sell of the ‘Stone Cold’ Stunner. However, the WWE chief later summed it up by saying, “as long as people were laughing and entertained. it’s okay.” Very well said by Mr. McMahon as the whole intention of the Grandest Event is nothing more.
