WWE WrestleMania 38 is here! ‘The Stupendous’ event officially kicked off with Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura opening the show. They faced the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos. However, in the opening match of WrestleMania, it seems like one of the WWE Superstars suffered a terrible injury.
The match began with extremely fast-paced action as Shinsuke Nakamura and Jimmy Uso started things off in the ring. While The Usos dominated the early part of the match, the tides changed once Rick Boogs entered and dominated proceedings on his maiden WrestleMania outing.

Rick Boogs showed off his incredible strength as he delivered stalling suplexes and drops. However, at one point, while Boogs was lifting Jey Uso for a move, Jimmy Uso immediately jumped on top of his brother. This resulted in Boogs having to bear both Usos’ weight.

For one moment, it looked like Rick could handle the weight of both The Usos together, but it proved too much as his leg buckled and he fell down.
Rick Boogs was mostly inconsequential in the rest of the match, as he seemed to have suffered an injury. Using the numbers game to their advantage, The Usos started dominating Shinsuke Nakamura. They delivered many big moves, but Nakamura kept kicking out.

Even Nakamura could not keep up too long with the full might of The Usos alone. Eventually, his exertions caught up with him and he fell victim to the “1-D” signature move by The Usos. With that move, The Usos retained their SmackDown Tag Team Championships. However, the story that followed was tragic.
Rick Boogs seems to have suffered a legitimate injury at the match.
